I was able to fulfill a long-standing dream of operating my own business in February of 2008 when I officially opened a Pak Mail store in my hometown of East Windsor, New Jersey. Although I started with high hopes, I soon realized that we were experiencing the worst recession that I can remember. It turned out to be one of the most difficult times of my life, and it became extremely challenging and almost financially impossible to keep the store afloat.  If it wasn’t for my fantastic wife, Judy, who supported me mentally and financially, I don’t know what I would have done.

After 6 ½ years and seeing the emergence of online shopping and free shipping, I had to make a decision.  I realized that it was necessary to refocus the business and to become more of a freight shipping company.  Knowing this I decided to relocate to a larger facility where we could build the boxes and crates needed for this new aspect of the business. I made the move in March 2014.

Changing the direction of the business was the right decision.  However, due to my physical condition, I am no longer able to do the physical work necessary to continue to grow the business to meet the trends of the future.  After procedures on my back and constant leg problems, I made the choice to sell the store to someone who has the strength, youth, and stamina to grow “my baby.”

It is with a mixture of sadness and happiness that I want to give you the news that I have sold Pak Mail East Windsor. While I will miss interacting with my customers and the people of the community, it is exciting for me to engage in the next phase of my life. I look forward to having the opportunity to spend more time with my family and friends.  As I move on, I feel happy to have established the first Pak Mail franchise in the state of New Jersey and I am proud of our reputation, our integrity, and the quality of service we have provided to our customers.

The new storage area is almost 1/2 full. Thank you Shannon and your team for getting this done so quickly. They did it fast enough we had no downtime.

To all my loyal customers. Please have patients with us for the rest of this week.

The store is going through another construction and I hope to keep at least 1 register open during this time. If all goes by plan everything should be completed by this Friday.

The results will not be as noticeable by many customers. We are reducing the front retail area by 15′ and building another wall behind P.O.S.

The end results will be major to us, as this will create an internal storage area of approx. 1000 cubic feet, plus open up the back room for us to work more efficiently, benefiting you our customers.

Fred Moorer

Fred Moorer, who has been with Pak Mail – East Windsor since 2012, has been promoted to manager. Freddie, who was just a kid when I hired him, didn’t even know what a screwdriver was. He sure has come a long way. Not only has he proven himself and earned my trust, but he has also gained extensive knowledge of the packing and shipping business, and not to mention his customer service skills. Just ask any of our customers, they all love him. Thanks Freddie! Keep up the good work.

Pak Mail-East Windsor is excited to announce that we are initiating an innovative marketing campaign to help launch our new services. The addition of these services will compliment the extensive offerings we currently provide to our customers.

The most important element of this campaign will be the revision of our website. The site will contain commercials, which are now up and running, and you tube videos which will be coming soon.

WE will kick off this venture with the acquisition of a 15′ truck with lift gate. This acquisition allows us to expand our services and makes Pak Mail-East Windsor our neighborhoods complete packing and shipping company.

With all this in place we will introduce a service called, “CONCIERGE WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY.” This will be a premium service that includes same-day delivery and a blanket wrap service, with on-site crating to be added in the near future.
